Power Rangers Megaforce Characters

Last night, O.92 (RangerCrew) posted a great image on the board with the current character information from Power Rangers Megaforce. This inspired me to do more research on the current list of characters. I spoke with one of my sources in the morning to get more information.

Gosei and Tensou

My source has informed me that Gosei and Tensou will be brand-new characters in Power Rangers Megaforce. Both characters will not be the expected Sentai counterparts (Master and Datas) from Goseiger. Gosei and Tensou will have original character designs specifically created for the Megaforce season. The original version of Gosei was inspired by an earthy design. This concept was later changed to resemble the Gosei Morpher.

I was not a fan of the Datas character so this is already a plus in my book. Datas was used as an ally and mecha for a few of the Goseiger mecha formation. If Power Rangers Megaforce includes those mecha formation, it may be possible that Datas will be zord-only. There is no confirmation on the usage of Datas at this time.

Creepox

My source has also confirmed that the current name for Dereputa (Goseiger) is Creepox. This name was first mentioned in Papercutz Power Rangers Megaforce Graphic Novel Issue 3. For more information on the Graphic Novels, check out the announcement on RangerCrew Blog.
